Food Review of Spicy Village
68 Forsyth Street | Total Rating (Out of 5): 4.5
Type of Cuisine (★★★★☆): Noodles (Humei), Sesame chicken, lamb broth, other Chinese cuisine. Excellent taste and quality, could have more of a vegetarian selection (most broths are lamb or beef).

Interior of restaurant (★★★★☆): Small and narrow, with 4 tables. You are better off getting take out because it is usually very crowded during lunchtime.

Service (★★★★★): If you call for pickup your food will be ready immediately. Though the restaurant is small, the employees will make sure that you are comfortable as you wait for your food. All employees are cordial.

Interior of restaurant (★★★★☆): Very small and cramped with only three tables. The tables are usually available so you can sit down and enjoy your food during lunch.

Service (★★★★★): It doesn’t take too long for your food to be ready. Friendly and quick service.

Interior of restaurant (★★★★☆): It’s very easy to miss it because it’s a few steps downstairs. There’s an enlarged photo of the menu on the wall. It feels very homey.

Service (★★★★☆): They will only take your order if you pay first. Sometimes, they won’t understand the way you speak and may make a mistake your order up but most of the time, they won’t.

Interior of restaurant (★★★★★): It’s very cute and well-decorated but unfortunately, it’s also very small. Next to the cashier, there’s a menu and allergy warnings. They play aesthetic music and very instagrammable.

Service (★★★★☆): The employees are very friendly but the food does take quite long. About 10-15 minutes. I recommend ordering drinks and dishes that are not too complex.

Interior of restaurant (): Very aesthetic and is a science/chemistry themed cafe, which is superrr cute. It has beakers and containers with the ingredients needed for you order.

Service (): In a way, it’s self-service because you can make food is practically customizable and it makes learning fun!
